About Application View

When you select a project from the Project Explorer or the My or Community Projects portlet, the project application view is displayed. The application view provides access to all of the functional areas and objects in a project in a single tabbed window. The tabs available in the application view are Overview, Calendar, Tasks, Documents, Discussions, Wiki, Blog. Click a tab to change the view to that functional area.

Project Leaders can choose to disable functional areas in a project's application view. For more information on enabling and disabling functional areas, see Functional Areas.

Manage Project

Project Leaders only. Select one of the following:

  • Project Settings: Edit the project's general settings. For more information, see General Settings.

  • Project Recycle Bin: Manage the project's recycle bin. For more information, see Project Recycle Bin.

  • Export to UCM: Available when export to Oracle Universal Content Management is enabled in Oracle WebCenter Collaboration. Export the documents and folders in the project to Oracle Universal Content Management. For more information, see Exporting Projects to Oracle UCM.

Project Search

Search for an object within the selected project. Type a search string into the text box and click the Search button. For more information about the results of the search, see Search Results.

Choose Project

Select either a project or Project Explorer. The project you selected is loaded into the application view or you are taken to Project Explorer.
